I’m absolutely loving swimming multiple laps in the pool at the gym I just joined almost 2 months ago. I’m a water baby by zodiac sign since I’m a Pisces, and I’ve always felt at home in the water but I’ve never been a regular in the pool, certainly not at a gym for the sake of exercise.

Here we are again, that time of year when summer suddenly seems like a distant memory despite it being gone only a few weeks, at least officially. The grey skies are settling in as well as the early loss of daylight.

Brava Kate! I was delighted to read the news this week that Kate Moss has opened up her own talent management agency. I love when influencers do something major with their platform involving giving back. 

What an interesting NYFW it was. This was the first time that a good number of designers opted to have their collections be “see now, buy now” and show their f/w 2016 collection during what is typically the s/s season for the following year.

The Met’s Costume Institute’s annual exhibit, which kicks off with a mega party, the Met Ball, on the first Monday in May, doesn’t disappoint this year. I thoroughly enjoyed the theme of handmade vs machine-made clothing for the haute couture and pioneering pret a porter.

This past weekend brought two new recipes into my life, and they’re just in time for summer. Delicious and nutritious is the preferable way to go for my body to feel its best.

I don’t know about you, but as soon the warmer seasons appear, I find myself wanting to put on a good chemical-free SPF, throw my hair up into a ponytail/bun, grab my sunglasses and hat and head out into the glorious weather.

As I was reminded of today when I was at Paragon Sports shopping for a one piece swimsuit – and I mean swim suit, not bathing suit – there are maybe 2 “sexy” suits among a sea of yuck.

Recently I was asked to be one of the alumni panelists for a talk on “Life After PCS” to the current high school students at The Professional Children’s School (PCS). It was a trip down memory lane for sure when I arrived and was taken on a tour of the school.
