What an interesting NYFW it was. This was the first time that a good number of designers opted to have their collections be “see now, buy now” and show their f/w 2016 collection during what is typically the s/s season for the following year.

The Met’s Costume Institute’s annual exhibit, which kicks off with a mega party, the Met Ball, on the first Monday in May, doesn’t disappoint this year. I thoroughly enjoyed the theme of handmade vs machine-made clothing for the haute couture and pioneering pret a porter.

This past weekend brought two new recipes into my life, and they’re just in time for summer. Delicious and nutritious is the preferable way to go for my body to feel its best.

I don’t know about you, but as soon the warmer seasons appear, I find myself wanting to put on a good chemical-free SPF, throw my hair up into a ponytail/bun, grab my sunglasses and hat and head out into the glorious weather.

As I was reminded of today when I was at Paragon Sports shopping for a one piece swimsuit – and I mean swim suit, not bathing suit – there are maybe 2 “sexy” suits among a sea of yuck.

Recently I was asked to be one of the alumni panelists for a talk on “Life After PCS” to the current high school students at The Professional Children’s School (PCS). It was a trip down memory lane for sure when I arrived and was taken on a tour of the school.

What a journey it was! I had a wonderful time on my recent book tour, especially in Los Angeles and Miami where the sun was out and the spirits were high, thanks to all the magnificent people who came out to support me and my book – I love you all!

I had the best time at the sumptuous Beverly Hills Party for my book. It was simply divine! My lovely friends, Christina Zilber of Jouer Cosmetics, and Katy Strouk of Monsieur Marcel were the hostesses.

For the fashion world, this time of the year can tend to feel a little like being a kid in the days after Christmas. Although the excitement of fashion month and awards season is behind us, never fear! 

What a fantastic night spent celebrating my book “Finding The Supermodel In You”! I had a most wonderful time as the guest of honor for this exquisite book launch party, hosted by my dear friend Serge Normant at his gorgeous, chic salon in Chelsea.
